Thrifted Sunday

I love thrifted finds, vintage finds, and all that good stuff. I usually go thrift shopping, once or twice a week? I used to go about 3-4 times a week, those were the good ol' days when I would spend my hard earned money on great finds that I sometimes wouldn't even wear... (what was I thinking???) I ended up donating most of that clothes to the hospital where my mom works. I guess you can say I was addicted! I just love finding great things for those kind of prices, its so exciting!

Anyway today I visited the Goodwill, which I don't normally do, because where I live, I don't feel like I find deals at Goodwills, I actually visit a certain one constantly, but when its closed or when I know they don't have anything good, I go somewhere else..

Here are my finds from the past two weeks. Im in love with all of these, but am most excited about that crochet top!!! What an awesome find right? The yellow piece is a kimono that I got for about 8 dollars, what a steal, and the blue garment is a high waisted maxi skirt.. lucky me. Can't wait to pair these with my other clothes and see the outcome.. anyway enough about my thrifting obsession..

I love working with a variation of colors, I actually never noticed that I incorporate so many different colors onto my paintings, until someone pointed it out, I love to hear other peoples opinions on my work, and I love to know what they see in my work also. It keeps my mind open to others opinions..
